Change Cadet

Change Cadet is a change management and organizational development consulting firm that offers a broad array of services including executive coaching, strategic planning, problem solving, and facilitation that support embedding anti-racism, diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging into overall organizational identity & strategy. Dr. Cadet, Found and CEO, has over 15 years of experience working with various multimillion dollar organizations in both the private and public sector. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Based Public Health, a Master of Public Health, and a Doctor of Health Sciences in Leadership and Organizational Behavior.

Coaching and Advising

Executive Coaching: Change Cadet will develop a one-on-one coaching relationship with the Client in order to cultivate the Client’s leadership and/or diversity goals. Together we will help to strategize, problem solve, and innovate around specific issues the Client wants to address (DEIB related or otherwise) in order to help the Client achieve their goals while also maximizing the Client’s potential. Change Cadet works with leaders regardless of ethnicity to utilize influential power of leaders to begin or continue efforts to promote diverse and anti-racist environments.

Rate: $1,000 for Dr. Cadet or $500 for a Change Cadet Coach per 50-minute virtual session, minimum of 3 sessions

Group Coaching: Change Cadet will cultivate a coaching relationship with Clients in groups of up to ten individuals to strategize, problem solve, and innovate around team building and/or a collaborative DEIB goals. The group coaching sessions are a facilitative process in which Change Cadet leverages the resources and knowledge of a group of individuals at an organization who are working on a common DEIB theme, but where they each have different individual perspectives, experiences, and approaches.

Rate: $1,500 for Dr. Cadet or $1,000 for a Change Cadet Coach per 50-minute virtual session, minimum of 3 sessions

Sensitivity Editing: Change Cadet will coach an author and provide sensitivity editing for a diverse, inclusive, equitable, and anti-racist book. Sensitivity editing will include ideation and review of participant interviews to assure inclusive voices are represented in the book.

Rate: Dependent on scope of work. $10,000 minimum

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Advising & Accessibility Advising: Change Cadet to provide ongoing support for the Client including advising, meetings, sensitivity editing, and email support in order to evoke organizational change internally and externally. This may include advising in areas such as social media/marketing strategy, learning pathways, and determining or refreshing policies and practices to better reflect commitment to DEIB and/or accessibility. Advising is designed to support companies and teams with capacity to implement efforts. Sensitivity editing items refers to policies, procedures, surveys, statements, documents, and content in support of DEIB.

Tier 1: $3,000/month, minimum of 6 months, 1 50-minute virtual meeting + 1 sensitivity editing item/month + email correspondence

Tier 2: $6,000/month, minimum of 6 months, up to 2 50-minute virtual meetings + 2 sensitivity editing items/month + email correspondence

Tier 3: $8,000/month, minimum of 6 months, up to 3 50-minute virtual meetings + 3 sensitivity editing items/month + email correspondence

Facilitations

Facilitation: Facilitated discussions with a small team or department about DEIB or anti-racism for predetermined topics. Examples included difficult conversations, learning what employees would like to see at their organization for DEIB efforts, and refreshing company values.

Rate: $5,000 - $10,000 for 50-minute session

Content Creation

Curriculum Creation: Change Cadet to co-create and design an educational curriculum, with the potential to include learning pathways for employees, in order to add a diversity lens to all content or develop specific content around DEIB and/or cultural change. Service can also include moving curriculum to a virtual offering if applicable.

Rate: Dependent on scope of work, $30,000 minimum


Assessments

Project: Planning and execution of DEIB, anti-racism, and organizational change efforts. Change Cadet acts as a neutral party to work with key leaders and staff to do an assessment of the organization and create a comprehensive DEIB strategy across the company for a successful outcome. Assessments may vary but can include surveys, focus groups, and/or a thorough review of the company’s internal processes and documents. All project agreements start with a group executive coaching session to ensure that leadership is ready to ACT (Accountability, Communicate, and Transparency) followed by a kick-off meeting and then a detailed Work Plan is provided to outline the work throughout the project. Data Reports, if applicable, may include:

  • Data visualizations

  • Supporting organizations through interactive data-driven decision-making processes, with a specific focus on equity

  • Analysis of trends based on key data collection

  • Detailed research findings of company’s DEIB efforts for both internal and external audience

  • Defining metrics to further explore a company’s workplace diversity and inclusion practices and policies

Rate: Dependent on scope of work, $25,000 minimum, 4 month minimum

Investigative Analysis: When internal incidents or issues arise within a company that mandate an investigation, the Change Cadet team will act as a third party to interview the relevant team members to uncover and identify areas of dysfunction and provide recommendations for improved team function and dynamic. The investigative analysis includes:

  • Individual interviews

  • Review and analysis of interview responses

  • An investigative analysis report that includes a detailed summary of the interviews and recommendations

  • One 50-minute meeting to discuss the report, its findings, and its recommendations

Rate: Dependent on scope of work, $20,000 minimum
